Managing Director
Thandisile Fatyela
Thandisile Fatyela is the managing director and founder of Fatyela Enviro Works, he has over 10 years of career experience within the sectors of nature conservation, training and development, ecotourism, cultural heritage and research. His work primarily focuses on championing South Africa's green economy by driving sustainable development and creating ecological employment opportunities for youth. About Thandisile Fatyela: Holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Applied GIS for Geography and Environmental Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography, Environmental Sustainability Studies and Tourism. Thandisile is a trained Pest Control Operator for Noxious Weeds and Industrial Vegetation as well as Structural Pest Control and registered with the Department of Agriculture. Thandisile is a registered Facilitator and Assessor with CATHSSETA. Thandisile has also been recognized and awarded at the Mail and Guardian Top 200 Young South Africans under the category of Climate Change and Environment, this award was for Thandisile’s commitment towards green economy and sustainability. Thandisile continues to share his commitment towards his community where he currently serves as the Chairperson of Board of Trustees for Lwandle Migrant Labour Museum, Chairperson and Founder of Foundation for Youth Development in South Africa and as Ward Committee member in Ward 86 of Subcouncil 8 under the portfolio of Environment.
